Pupils have excellent attitudes to learning and their relationships with adults and amongst themselves are good... Staff are well motivated, highly committed, and rightly feel part of a successful team... A larger proportion of parents and carers than is usual responded to the Ofsted questionnaire. They were unanimous that their child enjoys school."

Our Aims

Our vision of ‘success’ (linked to the five principles of Every Child Matters) is that children:

  • Enjoy and achieve: they are enthusiastic, self-motivated learners and are helped to make the most of their abilities in all areas
  • Make a positive contribution: they feel that their opinions and efforts are valued, have a sense of community and ownership of the school and have their successes celebrated with and by others
  • Achieve economic well-being: they develop key knowledge and skills, communicate effectively, seek creative solutions to problems and show resilience and perseverance
  • Are healthy: they are physically active, have a sensible diet and are confident socially and emotionally
  • Are safe: they know how to deal appropriately with risk, make informed choices and accept personal responsibility

Our Vision

To provide an inclusive, inspiring learning community where everyone is appropriately challenged, supported and empowered to be happy and successful.

Our Values

Our school community is built on these shared values:

• fairness
• honesty
• co-operation
• respect for one another
• caring for our environment
